Education for non-Chinese speaking children To provide non-Chinese speaking children with adequate support, our school has provided support services for children of different races, so that they can better understand one another’s culture and learn to respect the others in order to quickly adapt to the local education system. We have also striven to assist them to learn Chinese effectively so as to improve their ability to communicate with others in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, different training courses are provided to teachers to enhance their teaching skills in this aspect. Pre-school rehabilitation services Our school has always been teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, paying attention to their individual learning needs, assisting them to adapt to the school life, and embracing the spirit of loving and helping each other, equality and inclusion. In order to help them facilitate their adjustment to group living in school and assist them to learn happily and effectively, we have launched pre-school rehabilitation services so that the children in need can receive appropriate care and education as soon as possible. Pilot scheme on social work services in kindergarten Aiming to identify and support pre-school children in need and their families as early as possible, our school also works closely with stationing social workers to take good care of children’s growth and development, ensure their physical and mental health, enhance the parenting skills of parents, and improve the communication and relationship between parents and children.
