New student’s adaptation The students who are new to school have to adapt to an unfamiliar environment, overcome the anxiety of being temporarily separated from their families, and learn to get along with teachers and classmates. These are all new experiences and challenges for both the children and their parents. In order to help newly-enrolled children adapt to school life, our school will provide a range of activities early on, includingInformation Talk for New Parents, Orientation Day, Parent-Teacher Exchange Day, Adaptation Week and “Learn and Laugh With Us” where parents take part in children’s learning activities at school., All of these arrangements help children feel accepted and cared for, and allow them to grow healthily under the good care of their family and our school. Interface between kindergartens and primary schools Our school is committed to cultivating children's diverse learning interests and assisting children in establishing a proactive learning attitude. Our school’s curriculum effectively enhances children’s problem-solving and self-care abilities, and at the same time cultivates their courage to overcome difficulties and their passion for learning. In coordination with enrichment courses, visits to primary schools and primary school life simulation, we prepare our students mentally for the transition toprimary school in a step-wise fashion. Our school also organizes various activities such as seminars on the transition from kindergarten to primary school, talks from primary school principals (?), visits to primary schools and sharing sessions by parents of alumni, so that parents can be well-informed and prepare adequately for the primary school application process.
